who is María Fernanda Leaño Aceves?

She was born in San Antonio Texas and raised between USA, México and Switzerland, she studied in (Antonio Caso primary school) in Guadalajara Mexico and at (Instituto Alpes San Javier Catholic School), ( Institute Le Rosey Switzerland) in high school, in college she studied Journalism (Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara) Oil painting and drawing in (School of Art Firenze) Florence Italy, and a masters on writing and Hispanic Literature (Sogem México) Design (Parsons NYC), Theatre, (Lee Strasberg Nyc), Curating and Impressionism (Christies London) ART JOURNALING/COLLAGES (PRATT NYC).

As a Journalist she has collaborated in different kinds of print media; Newspapers and Magazines in Mexico City and Guadalajara, México, she currently freelances for Spanish speaking media and represents AME "Asociación Mexicana de Editores de México (Mexican Press Association) in U.S.A. Before moving to New York to study she created MS "Magazine Social" magazine in Guadalajara and Mexico City, in partnership with Ocho Columnas newspaper, she also produced hundreds of editorials, covers and photo shoots, in partnership with, Chanel, Burberry, Palacio de Hierro, Gucci, and other brands, she also arranged the settings and led teams of photographers and stylist into making campaign for her clients, and she was also editor in chief of Política Magazine in Guadalajara were she meet and interviewed many politicians including Presidents, Mayors and Governors, she is a Member of IAPA (Inter American Press Asociation), she has been part of the non Profits like DIF Jalisco, Teletón, Nosotros por los Niños con Cancer and Juntos por un Caminar.

Acerca de María Fernanda Leaño Aceves:

Ella nació en San Antonio Texas y se crió entre los Estados Unidos de América, México y Suiza, estudió en la Escuela Primaria Antonio Caso de Guadalajara, México y en el Instituto Le Rosey de Suiza, Estudió Periodismo (Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara) pintura al óleo y dibujo en (Escuela de Arte Firenze) Florencia Italia, y una maestría en ecritura y literatura hispana (Sogem México) Diseño (Parsons NYC) Fotografía (Parsons NYC) Teatro (Lee Strasberg).

Al graduarse la artista trabajó para medios impresos en Guadalajara y Ciudad de México; revistas y periódicos. Creó la revista MS "Magazine Social" en Guadalajara y México en colaboración con el periódico Ocho Columnas. También produjo cientos de editoriales, portadas y sesiones fotográficas, en conjunto con marcas como: Chanel, Burberry, Palacio De Hierro, Gucci, y otros,produjo escenografías y dirigió a los equipos de fotógrafos y estilistas a hacer campaña para sus clientes. Fue directora de la Revista Política de Guadalajara, se reunió y entrevistó a muchos políticos incluyendo Presidentes, Alcaldes y Gobernadores, es miembro de la SIP (Asociación Interamericana de Prensa), ha formado parte asociaciones civiles sin fines de lucro como DIF Jalisco, Teletón, Nosotros por los Niños con Cancer y Juntos por un Caminar.

Un día María Fernanda dejó su trabajo en periodismo en México y se mudó a Nueva York a estudiar hace más de cuatro años, donde actualmente representa y se ofrece como voluntaria para el sindicato de la Asociación Mexicana de Prensa (AME) en Estados Unidos y estudia arte y temas relacionados con Periodismo y crea, cura y personifica su arte.

María Fernanda también promueve las relaciones publicas VIP de Isla Navidad Golf, Marina, Hotel and Villas Resort, fundado por su abuelo Don Antonio Leaño (QPD) situado en las playas de Costalegre en el Pacifico de México.

La artista creó e interpreta a La Otra Malinche y su mundo de dentro de un libro vivo de arte visual; Ella es la reencarnación contemporánea de La Malinche, un personaje histórico; Aquella princesa Nahua, la cual fue vendida como esclava, y después se convirtió en la amante del general Hernán Cortés, quien llego al continente de las Américas en 1519 a Mesoamérica y derrotó a los Aztecas con la ayuda de Malinche.
